Woven Woods is a collection of both floor-loom woven and dobby woven interior fabrics, exploring natural and organic textures in the grid of a woven structure. Chenilles, cottons, linens, polyester, wool and various other wefts are woven through various cotton warps to create distinct textures found throughout the forest. Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach, Florida is the perfect example of what happens when the woods meet water. Brackish creeks flow into the saltwater ocean, with shadows of branches dancing around driftwood covered sands. Blues, greys, beiges, greens and yellows are inspired by the subtle beauty of the environment.
