Wovens
Shown are a variety of woven pieces, from samples to wall hangings to blankets! Weaving is such a wonderful hand-done practice, and all pieces are hand woven on either frame or floor looms!

textile manipulation
Here is a highlight of some of my various textile manipulations, from needle felting, to quilting samples, to screen-printing and natural dyes to laser engraved leather. Every sample explores methods to transform the surface and or structure of various materials.
Through Bark & Moss
1/23/26
Through Bark & Moss is a series of laser-engraved, laser-cut wooden wall hangings that explore various layers of embellishment. These works explore themes of trees as the foundation of nature, and a symbol of life.

Sunken Surface Collection
Various natural surfaces are laser engraved onto goat leather, then later molded using a CNC routed mold.
This is a collection of various textile manipulations on cotton lawn. Every design was a digital pattern printed with reactive dyes, then manipulated using techniques such as quilting, slashing, pleats, free motion embroidery, shirring and pin tucks.

Restorative Roots
Restorative Roots is a screenprinted yardage length intended for upholstery inspired by spanish moss hanging from Savannah trees.
The green background was hand-painted on linen with screenprint ink, then later layered on top with the repeating design in black screenprint ink.
